Born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey. I sought out a Bachelor of Science Degree from California State University, Long Beach in Business Administration, Marketing. After college I held Sales positions at Fortune 500 companies.
I left Los Angeles for Atlanta, Georgia to a town where my mother had retired. I joined the Athens-Banner Herald; a 100 year old newspaper as an Advertising Sales Rep. I was the first African American sales rep at the newspaper.
After a once in a lifetime opportunity opened up in Los Angeles, I returned 3 years later to California to become a non-paid Intern at Motown Records. Beginning my music career in A&R, I quickly landed paying positions working in Radio Promotion, Studio/show production and tour management. Soon a position in Catalog came calling. Reviving and marketing some of the old great artists; I received credits on Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Gladys Knight, Teena Marie and other great catalog projects.
After the demise of the LA office of Motown, I joined Urban Network Magazine. Creating the Video Department by establishing relationships with Major Record labels, local video shows, MTV and BET was my first feat along with my many office duties. These contacts lead to creating my own Video Promotion Company; Saul Goode Entertainment Media. SG Media has serviced many music videos from famous artists such as Mary J. I became intrigued by the acting world after watching a co-worker land a Burger King commercial. Soon after I studied acting at Los Angeles City College to polish my craft. I secured an agent and began working right away on many movie and television shows ie; Heroes, Ugly Betty, E.R., Hancock, First Sunday, CSI New York, Scrubs, Rush Hour 3 and commercials and print ads.
At Urban Network I garnered an opportunity to test drive/review Motorcycles for Harley Davidson. Once I got Harley on board the rest of the Motorcycle manufactures came easy. Buell, Kawasaki, Ducati, Victory, Yamaha, Honda, Triumph, Aprilia, Moto-Guzzi all provide bikes for me to review. I get a brand new motorcycle every 3 weeks. I ride them for about 2-3 weeks and write my comments and about my travels. Also I have secured Motorcycles for some movies, TV shows and music videos.
